Guinea- 50 years, but still no true democracy- local Catholic source tells Agenzia Fides

50 years of independence, in The Republic of Guinea, means little- according to Agenzia Fides, in an article on Friday, which quotes a local Catholic source as saying that the republic was not truly democratic- but run by the family of the president.

Guinea is one of the poorest countries in the world, much of this is blamed on corruption.
