Spanish bishops have condemned not only the murder of those embryos that did not make the cut, but the creation of a child for purely one purpose. The Director of “ Fundación Vida” in Spain, Manuel Cruz, who had apposed this was publicly noting of it as treating a person like cattle to be selected. The church as a whole in the country was apposed to the slaughters, as degrading what it means to be human, and the divine dignity of every human soul.
Like the work of Nazi scientists who so prided their work which advanced through the deaths of the helpless, the world should be burning these scientific works, but instead many media outlets are praising the creation of a child selected and created purely with one purpose- to be a blood bank for a relative with a genetic disease. The fact that so many of his bothers were either frozen or dealt with in such a manner as to induce death, so that a visible child could be used to supply the blood transfers- which are also viable via moral methods- has been over-looked.
Whenever I think of abortion- my mind goes to the image of a boiled egg- of opening it and seeing a dead bird inside of it- and vomiting- one of my worst fears. Truly- when animal eggs have an animal part in them- we do not deny it was alive- but what we can't see doesn't exist for many- whether the starving children on my continent- or so many other things. What has happened now is a human rights abuse- the doctors, and the parents should be locked up for life for murder.
Technically- this practice used to create the above mentioned "designer baby"- is called in vitro fertillization.
