I'd especially pay for city centred content, or local news from across the localized Earth. Too many news services have the same liberal, change the world ethos... I'd rather read the truth, than pay for press releases. Also, if that pay wall collected external stories that were actually useful, and not change the world propaganda, yes, I would. But too many news media are obsessed with being a third estate, rather than an accurate tool for their readers to be informed.
