Interesting Piece by the Economist: Print Isn't Dead! It looks at new ways advertising, and lack of it is being used by print publishers!
As for people not caring where news comes from: that is the reason for the rize of the critical newspaper, or blog. Giving the other side of a story against the mainstream, is something SACNS and other services I edit, do best!
