According to a release, in a Spanish Language article on Monday by a Catholic news agency : Zenit News: the Bishops conference of Central Africa: Association of Episcopal Conferences of Central Africa Region (Acronym of: ACERAC): has placed the blame for poverty: which often includes starvation: on a lack of transparency, on corruption, and in the lack of adequate systems dealing with corruption, and protecting the environment, and peoples of the region: in Resource Rich Central African Regions: according to Zenit: the countries encapsulated by the Central African bishops conference: include: Gabon, Congo, Cameroon, Chad, Central African Republic and Equatorial Guinea.
