Simon Cowell hires Britney Spears for 15 Million US for x-factor post- reports
It's all about ratings (same reason Fox cancelled brilliant Terra Nova)

How soon until Britney makes a bad decision like Nicole, and get's replaced for upsetting Simon... and viewers?


...in the UK the contestants were caught performing rehersals in pyjamas I think, before they moved there to US eyes;)!

"If a deal is done, she’d fill one of the two seats left open after Cowell cut loose judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger after the first season.

A Fox spokeswoman said the network had no comment on the reports. A spokeswoman for Cowell said the same.

“The whole idea is to get eyeballs in front of the show,” said Brad Adgate, senior vice president at Horizon Media. “When you look at the big name judges, you think of [‘The Voice’ judges] Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera and [‘American Idol’s’\] Jennifer Lopez. He’s been searching for a blockbuster name that’s gouing to draw in viewers, particulary young viewers.”"
