In "attempt at political correctness", Wycliff, and other bible companies purposely mistranslated Arabic bibles
Editorial view: Not acceptable, this is imperialism. And it does not imply that in Arabic, which may justify a different translation if there were not such thing as footnotes. Even if it did which it did not, a simple footnote would suffice. Any baptism in the name of the guardian, the representative and whatever * really means nothing. Further, Muslims, are upset in some countries over the use of Allah as God's name, this will worsen it. People have suffered attacks for use of the word Allah for the Catholic God.
Father means origin, guardian, carer, owner/curator. Son means likeness but also obedience, and a perfection, a result of the Origin. Holy Spirit is the living resonance between them! This matters. And this is lost!
