The Dance of Una Ecclesiam et Deus- Journey in a Broken World

(Journey in a Broken World)

Article by Marc Aupiais

She felt it like silk against her skin: anguished, as though a soft brush of needles has been combed over her naked heart. She was worried, and pranced back and forward like a fearful horse after a loud noise. Shadow and light combined, her face hid a small scar, her eyes pierced, yet she was almost blind now.

She waited, and awaited her dance- as the announcement reverberated, and the audience quieted. They had come so far, to see her: to support her and jeer at her. She was a prodigy, a paradox. An example of foreign oddness.

Fear sailed up her shivering form, and entered her veins, and conquered her heart. She breathed, and calmed, as her heart pounded, and her chest beat against solid air. Things slowed down, then began to speed up, as she closed her eyes and hoped. She trusts, does she not? Calm enters her, as she is left conflicted. On the stage, the music starts, it enters one, and encompasses. Ahead lies a leap of faith. She goes through the logic, as she prepares to run, her legs move, yet she calms her conflicted self, and feels her veins contract.

The rivers inside her skin move slower, and she steadies her heart rate as much as viable. Ahead lies a sharp light, and around it- all is dark. She breathes in, and brushes her hair, combing with naked hands, and then she walks forward. Her heart is now like a log, tossed in the sea, and it beats as though buoyed in a hurricane. The beat is constant in her ears, as her face becomes pale beyond comparing.

The figure walks towards her, and peace begins to radiate, like the sun shining on her form. The rhythmic beat hits like a soaking in torrid ocean waves. She prepares to faint, and faintly stumbles into view, as around the lit up area they stand on- darkness surrounds. She cannot see the crowd, she ignores them as best she is able. She nearly closes her eyes, as she prepares to dance, as gentle, and perfect hands clasp her waist, and as a beam of light shines against her. She notes now, she is wearing clothes- a shining, translucent pale blue dress, which shines and reflects- sparkling, swirling like waters turning: in the light.

Dressage. She prances like a horse... Together: as one flow, together- form molds. She floats, like a strand of shrubbery, blown in the wind. She sways- like the savanna- in torrents before the storm. There is electrical energy in the air- a calm coolness preceding the power of an ancient storm.

The crowd is agitated, some want to hurt her, some devalue her- she senses their stare, and shivers. Other admire, others are jealous- others still wish they were her, and still others want to see her dance. Her moves are sudden, dramatic in this act of passionate rhythm. She hardly knows to trust her partner, as he leads her in a dangerous pose. In every move she senses his stare- it sustains her more than love- fear of betraying him, who trusted her is greater than that of the watching crowd. In every moment, he watches her technique, it is flawless: least he grimace, it is perfect, least he leave her and no longer dance. She is scared, a fear twirling, like a black horse swirling: she is terrified, as one who loves the mirror of her soul, whose heart would fade, should she disappoint. She barely trusts, but movement takes her, she barely knows- but logic sustains her.

"Ecclesiam", Deus whispers her name, as she recognizes barely her partner, and they prepare to move again. She realizes she was frightened now, she sees the swaying crowd, and watches as they move.

"Ecclesiam... Dear, dear friend!" Ecclesiam glances up at Dues, at the partner she so loves... and sees her partner, barely flashing against the flowing of movement and light. Her heart takes longer to beat, surprise takes her, she dares not meet his eyes!

"You did... good...!" She barely remembered it, these near foreign words he said. It was soft, it was quiet, barely could she hear... "Now follow me, we have more to dance... ... ... Do not disappoint"

She holds his hand, she feels steady now. Her fears are lost, she's bathing in his tearing love.

Her form is perfect, technique matters so much. She aims in her self: now barely to please- her heart wont pass this down.

They do a dance, as light flashes around. She holds his hand, daring not to glance up. Her fear remains, yet so now does her hope. She dances now, freed: by her very technique; extravagant- for her exacting specification of pose. Her feet move faster, her eyes glance around. She stops, then moves, then isn't sure until her partner carries her forward into the blissfulness of dance.

This is her chance- the only one to please, this is her promise- her actions will make her married. She is God's fiancée, the church of the living God. This is where she has the opportunity- to impress him into marriage. When in love: we cherish our foolish loving, when in love- every risk is enough: yet, when in love with truth: truth must lead all things. We dance not with the audience, no: we make them wish they were us.

Perhaps, we are only the shoe, or a tiny part of her, but as long as we, as man and as woman: are the cherished woman: Ecclesiam: that pristine woman we call church: we dance with God himself, and we are entitled to what follows! We are like royalty, or the couple at their day: let us not forget our dignity, our birthright should we not forsake it.

All watch, and some applaud- as Ecclesiam and Deus end their dance- all around people begin to stand: inside her heart, the wild horse dances. All are impressed, she finished her dance, and shall dance forever with Deus: her partner. Her form won him for her, and his goodness, true oneness won her for him. Let us become Ecclesiam's flesh, let us be good- true and morally sane!

Scripturelink Voter's Guide- Democracy and Human Rights

(Scripturelink Voter's Guide; c.f. Scripturelink Encyclopedia: Democracy; Purify Your Bride 05/11/08)

Article by Marc Aupiais

"Ultimately, as Jesus notes of men- a fig tree has figs. A moral people are more likely to choose a moral leader, and educated people are likely to choose an educated leader, and an honest people are likely to aspire to honesty. One must note that Christ prayed on who his disciples were, as did the apostles- in succeeding Judas. Prayer, morality, and education- in logic- and discernment, are vital in creating adequate democracy. As it is noted, and as I note- Moral Law- is only not apparent to those who, or whose societies commonly break it. Like pain, recurring, conscience is ignored, but without evil influences, at least theoretically- democratic governance can be beneficial. As Jesus notes- treat your fellow man as you’d have him treat you- the people, if powerful enough, and wise enough- can often create good laws, however- the bad democrat is no way superior to the good autocrat. It is the body, which produces a head, or destroys the cancerous offshoot. A good democracy, with descerning people can produce a good leader, as much as any other system." (Marc Aupiais, 2007, Scripturelink Encyclopedia)

With between 45 and 54% of Catholics in America, estimated to have automatically been excommunicated under canon law, while voting in the US election, or supporting the United States Democratic Party, one may wonder why the Vatican has not openly refused relations with the United States of America. This is a country, which much like South Africa- has legalized a Genocide against citizens of their own country- at least until they can be registered as citizens (i.e. via killing them in abortion), and also a genocide in general (UN Declaration on Genocide article 2 section d- preventing births in a population, entered into force as law).

The reason lies in something I wrote on the 24th of December 2007, something we must remember about any political appointment in a Democracy. Yes, what, half the American church is likely excommunicated, if they through a fault of their own either did not know to, or did not choose to follow canon law, but this is their own choice, and their own cold, dark- slimy responsibility. The election of a leader by the people reflects the people who vote for him. The Vatican understands the situation in the Western world, they know who the leaders are, they are not blind to Canon Law, they are not blind to the deep chasms between church, state and Catholic populace.

At the same time, they understand that a country's presidential choices reflect the populace. The choice for keeping steady in abortion policy, and expanding abortion, and supporting a man who voted for infanticide to be legalized- reflects the people who voted for this man. If the Vatican were to decry anything, it would be the culture, and people who elected this party into office, the apathy of such people, the self focus, and consumer driven world-view, the selfish economic policies, and social policies of such a society. The Vatican, and the Papacy have openly condemned all of these- why must they also condemn the spokesperson with whom they must work. For negotiations, this does not help much.

Every person who supported the "American Democrats", and/or Obama in this American election- is guilty of helping the genocide of abortion, and more than that are at deep risk of the automatic excommunication of Canon law, with few exceptions. This is not about pointless politics, or even point-full politics- it is about a culture in the dances of souls. Every small action affects the spiritual landscape of the world, with constant ripples on salvation of souls- even what we do in the privacy of the mind has effect on our resonance. The Vatican now, as during World War Two, is not the sole speaker of the church, nor is her shock troops- the church calls the laity such.

Until the culture of truth prevails- until we openly live Christ, and manifest truth with every inhale and exhale of breath's movements- we will continue to see a culture with no center attacking like a broken sea, against the scarred beach of Catholicism. Our center will always hold, because our center is Reality Himself, Literally, and Reality is the Mediator of Our Existence. Mother Church says that apart from the church there is no salvation. We cannot blame the Vatican, or God, or our bishops, or leaders for the inexcusable allowance of Genocide in our western world, via the killing of the unborn. We must turn within and blame ourselves, and realize our own errors in this- and then determine not to be silent, and not to be hidden.

We who speak of what is right have much less guilt, and we who vote for what is right perhaps have even less if we also speak of it.

As the advance of a counterculture of abortion, euthanasia, and ideologies apposed to truth and church does walk steadily forward, blowing war horns, and beating with drums, like blood surging, and damaging the veins- and the spray of blood within the organs. As this happens- those of goodwill, Godspeed, and conscience must not flee and scatter, but stand strong uniformly, as centurions in our Army of truth, raising shields, and standing as one, as the Trojans, or the Romans, or the Spartans would. We must stand like sailors against the storm, like warships going out to battle. Standing by doing nothing, is to participate in what is happening.

Our weapons are the gospel, logic, truth, and detail.

Our methods are prayer, self mortification, and a lifestyle, opinions, openness, and boldness which does not pretend not to be ourself.

Let us not let further excommunications take place, let us not let the body of the broken church in the broken world continue to lose blood. We are a broken church, broken at the cross, by the break-lines of truth, spreading across our dry desert surface. Our brokenness should be a sign of truth, and not of lack of it. Let us preach the truth openly, and without fear of society, or others' views. It is only by openness, honesty and the logic behind our choice that we will make a difference. The Pope is not our sole voice- the Vatican is quiet, listening carefully, hoping that we will speak, praying for an end to apathy in every way, to selfish market policies, to abortion, and shortcuts like atheistic communism, and other things which do not aid her mission.

It is not by keeping silent on political, moral, and religious issues that we are safe. Saint Paul saw this as part of our defensive armour. In Nations like India, or England, where for years- Catholics have been more silent on the Gospel, the fog of war allows for misunderstanding and more.

Catholics must unite behind the banner of the Papacy, the banner of the pillar and foundation of truth's very essence (I Timothy chapter 3 verse 15), and we must join the battleground for the culture of the living truth. Nothing with human genes is anything less than human, and all that is human is worthy of human dignity- of being subject, and protected by others to and by Divine Law, and Natural Law.

Let us be the symbol, the sacrament, the paradox by which the world itself is saves- Let us Be Ecclesiam Veritas, Church of truth, and let us advance the human dignity to the far stretches, and barren wastelands, and hot, sweaty, humid rain-forests of our world, and to the depths of the oceans.

Until we take action through the right means, rather than just doing enough ineffectual "aiding" through corporates, and others selling substitutes for real help against the wines of conscience, we will not know what it is to be free. Freedom is at its fullest in sanity, and without sanity, we will never be free!

On this, on the need for justice, the Vatican has not been silent, and their silence is noise- for they are only silent when we cannot hear them. They have spoken on this issue loudly and clearly. It is now for us to amplify their voice- not just against individuals who are made examples by a culture. We have shown what these stand for, and still the culture of such accepts them, rather- let us show the logical, the social, the utter chasm of the fault in the society which supports Abortion and other issues, let us show them this through logic, love, truth and manifestation of honesty, through our every breath and via human dignity itself.

How we judge excathedra statements and Ecumenical Councils

(Journey in a broken world)

Article by Marc Aupiais

When the Fathers met at Nice- perhaps a third or even nearly half of the bishops of the council were condemned as heretical, the same happens in many councils of mother church- right up to and including Trent. Vatican Two is different- Vatican II, has what we call a pastoral effect. Now Vatican II was Ecumenical (Pope Paul VI, April 6th 1964, Ecclesiam Suam VI), but it was not at a time of crisis. When we talk of it- we see some bishops possibly in small schism, but no open apostasy- as with previous councils, as with the schism EWTN claims that over 100 bishops currently are in.

Now- when we look at the meaning of a council- we cannot look at either side's intent- the heretics would always front their views, the Orthodox theirs on any subject- and the council would vote. We only have the exact words. Now there is a pope declared a heretic by his replacement because he did not condemn Pelagius, so we know that when the church is silent- it does not mean this is God's intention, and should a council not mention something- or a pope not make a required Excathedra statement- this does not mean that God does not believe it needed. What comes from Excathedra statements is free from doctrinal or moral error, that does not mean it is exhaustive.

Now the pope is only infallible when he speaks as pope on issues of morals and doctrine- he can speak of doctrines and morals without being infallible- when he speaks infallibly the right procedures are adhered to.

When we speak of Vatican II, it does not replace, nor contradict any previous council or doctrine before it. It is simply another in the long line, another small piece in the jigsaw- replacing the ghost place where its unborn self rested before.

Excathedra statements therefore do not depend on the intentions of those who make them, even as these are of use when they seem unclear. They simply are free from doctrinal and moral error, with God's imprimatur, and often are utterly inspired.

Therefore there is only one spirit of Vatican II, and of any council- not the ideas of the bishops in attendance- but the very letter of what is written down- the exact words ratified by God himself. Of course, there is also the Holy Spirit, but he is not wishy washy- he is God and God is exacting.

There are councils which are not ecumenical- these often are called conferences or synods- these can include people from everywhere- but ecumenical councils are councils where all true bishops are invited to a council in union with the pope, and as one decide on issues needed- whereby their statements are confirmed by papal infallibility, and where they speak of doctrines and morals.

When the church is silent, or provides an exception that is exactly what it is, no more or less- there is no additional meaning- except what our conscience tells us, out of what was known in the very beginning- or out of what correlates with it.
