From the fact that American engineers built the canals which now act as trenches for rebels, and irrigate the drug producing poppy fields, which produce cocaine, to the fact, it costs one million dollars a year, to have one USA soldier deployed in Afghanistan, the Washington Post, has reported on some pretty shocking facts. Among these, also, is the fact that the troop surge Barack Obama deployed, to Afghanistan, was only reinforced in the low priority, high safety zones, where the troops were unlikely to see combat... and unlikely to return as coffin spectacles, or win the war.
Perhaps most shocking, Taliban head, Mullah Zakir, was transferred from American to Afghan custody, and released... fleeing to Pakistan, to lead Taliban fighters against Western forces.
