Madagascan Government "Illegitimate": South African Defense minister

(Social Justice South Africa; c.f. News 24 (Secular; Independent; South African) 20 / 03 / 2009)

South African Defense Minister: "Charles Nqakula", stated yesterday, that Madagascar's new military imposed coop government, under former mayor: "Rajoelina", of a major centre: is illegitimate: and that SADC ("Southern African Development Community"), should and likely would consider tough sanctions against Madagascar.

No Mention of sanctions against Zimbabwe have been made: despite election laws regarding Morgan Tsvangirai to have technically won previous Zimbabwean elections: due to a clause on what should happen if run-off elections were postponed beyond a certain point. This regulation, was noted on ENEWSCHANNEL shortly after recent elections.

Madagascar's "previous" president: "President Marc Ravalomanana" lost control of the Army: after a political opponent sent supporters to remove him from his residence: these were shot at by security personel: which the army used as justification to take over the country. Anti-government protesters: had killed many bystanders at that point ...already.

"Rajoelina", had refused to allow a referendum, on whether or not "Marc Ravalomanana", should step down. Tensions began to become noticeable: when "Rajoelina"'s television station was apposed, having played an interview with Madagascar's former socialist president in exile. "Rajoelina", has in an earlier article by us: been noted: as having allowed his followers to riot, kill, and shut down most communications networks in the country. At that stage radio Don Bosko, affiliated with Church structures, had still been running: we are unsure of their current status.

The EU, is another body which: was sited as considering the new "Madagascan" government to be illegitimate, in another local news article previously.
